11:00 am Naturalization Ceremony
Noon – 5:00 pm Pangaea Festival
NEW LOCATION - Baker Park, Frederick
Flavor, creativity, distinction: these words describe the character of an ever-changing Frederick, Maryland. As the area has grown, so too has the diversity of the population, from new immigrants to families that have been here for generations yet hold fast to the traditions and values of their heritage. Celebrate Frederick is excited to continue the tradition of honoring these populations with the third annual Pangaea Frederick – A Festival Celebrating Our Heritage.
The festival begins with induction of many new citizens during the Annual Naturalization Ceremony. The days only builds from there with food, entertainment and crafts with an international flair.
In 2010, the planning committee is delighted to announce that the event has been relocated to Baker Park. The additional space at this location will allow for more entertainment, activities and demonstrations than ever before!
