Be a Merchant Participant
Do you have a business in downtown Frederick? If so, join the more than 40 downtown businesses and organizations that participate in the annual In The Streets festival, and take advantage of the opportunity to advertise your business to over 70,000 visitors!
Merchant Participation Requirements
- Each business is eligible to reserve space directly in front of their business.
- Each business must provide an activity and/or sell their merchandise at their booth. Merchandise should reflect items typically sold in each business.
- A $50 registration fee is required for each 10′ x 10′ space requested.
This application is for Market Street businesses who would like to reserve the space in front of their store. If you are a downtown business (not on Market Street), you are invited to sell your merchandise on the Artisan Block. Opportunities are also available for downtown merchants (not located on Market Street) to partner with a Market Street business – please note this partnership on your application. If your business does not qualify for the Merchant Participant application, please visit our Block Participant application.
Merchant Participant Application
Merchant applications are due Monday, May 13, 2024. After this date, placement is not guaranteed. Applications will continue to be accepted as space permits through Monday, June 10th. (A late fee of $15 is assessed to all applications received after May 13.)
We are no longer accepting merchant applications for 2024. Please check back next year!
