Tour Fund Recipients
The Beyond the Garden Gates Garden Tour Committee supports two worthy causes with the proceeds from this annual event.
Each club dedicates a considerable amount of time and funds to community projects. These projects include initiatives like the maintenance of specific areas of local parks, partnerships with non-profit organizations like Habitat for Humanity, and sponsoring programs for youth in the community.
A portion of the tour proceeds benefit a beautification project or organization. Projects in the past have included the purchase of new trash receptacles and benches for Baker Park, the purchase of new trash receptacles to line Market Street, and plantings throughout downtown Frederick.
